Our history
Our work is rooted in the Finnish tradition of timber construction - a practice refined over generations and proven for its durability over time.
KONTIO was founded in Finland - a country with a deep connection to nature and some of the highest standards in woodworking.
The company began operations in the early 1970s as a small local wood-processing factory. Today, it is an industry leader and a developer of know-how and new technologies for the construction of solid timber structures.
More than 50,000 wooden buildings carry the KONTIO brand. For years, KONTIO has been the world’s leading manufacturer of wooden houses - the largest in terms of both sales and production capacity.
Log Concept Build brings KONTIO’s expertise to Bulgaria.
Production
All structures are made from high-quality timber harvested in sustainably managed Finnish forests.
The production process includes:

The result is a solid wood structure with exceptional strength, stability and durability with a minimal carbon footprint of 8% and utilisation of up to 98% of waste materials.
